Hulme Herb Walk

The fields and roadsides that surround Hulme have now been undisturbed for over a decade. As a result there is a remarkable diversity of plants growing in these wild inner city spaces. On this walk we will be exploring the medicinal properties of some of these plants as we discover this wilderness pharmacy in the heart of the city.
This is the third year for this popular herb walk, let’s hope that with the planned building on the Birley fields that not all of this natural resource will be lost.
