Food Re-Distribution Network to Launch in Manchester

The only criteria for groups in need of assistance with food costs, is that the food donated by Fareshare must be prepared and served on the donor organisations premises. Every year many thousands of tonnes of food are wasted for commercial reasons, much of which ultimately goes to landfill.

Fareshare, in conjunction with its Manchester partner company, Emerge Recycling is actively trying to bridge the gaps between sources of food surplus and groups supporting the vulnerable and needy.
