Screaming green website launched
Founded in 2006 by staff and students in the volunteering@salford project, 'Screaming Green' was born from the desire to fill the gap between theory and practice in environmental courses at the University of Salford. 28/10/08
New Sustainable Futures Film series
The Manchester Manchester Film Cooperative launches its next series of film screenings on the theme of 'sustainable futures'. These popular events bring a range of people together from across the city to discuss and debate issues raised by the thought provoking films. 24/09/08
New eco-mosques
This summer saw Manchester’s first eco-mosque in the heart of Levenshulme. Solar panels, underfloor heating, wood from renewable sources, low energy bulbs, and walls built from reclaimed stone and other features have contributed to £3.5m in costs for the new structure. 24/08/08
